The Gasthof Hotel zur Post in the town center of Herrsching am Ammersee is a traditional, Bavarian Gasthaus with hotel, restaurant and biergarten, located between Munich and the Alps.
„Die Post“ offers 17 comfortable rooms in a completely renovated building and a kitchen open daily from 11 a.m.- 10 p.m.

Your scope of duties:
- Cooking for the „a la carte“ business
- Responsibility for the preparation for/of high-quality meals
- Compliance with hygiene requirements and quality standards
- Receiving of goods and storage in the respective areas
Your profile:
- Interest in regional, qualitative and quantitative cooking
- Completion of vocational training as chef
- Knowledge of German language
- Ability to work independently
- High quality-awareness as well as good organizational skills

Your scope of duties:
- Tidying up work such as dishwashing and cleaning activities
- Assistance with the serving of food
- Vacuum sealing/labeling/storage/supervision of produced goods
- Storeroom work (dry storage/refrigeration)
- Separation/tidying up of rubbish

- Professional experience in the kitchen
- Knowledge of German language

Your scope of duties:
- Preparation for/of breakfast incl. egg dishes (shift from ca. 5-11 a.m.)
- Professional serving of meals and drinks
- Disassembling of the breakfast buffet
- Host for our hotel guests, also in the early morning
