That’s what your perfect stay at the Post could look like:

No matter what day you arrive – but plan to be here in the morning, so you can enjoy our extraordinary breakfast buffet! – And if you can’t make it before the church bells ring at noon, we’ll still serve fresh Weißwurst sausages with pretzels, typical sweet mustard and a lot of Augustiner wheatbeer. Luggage up to the room…and off you go!
With a “There’s nothing better than something good“-picnic bag on your back and travelling shoes on your feet, you sing the song “Das Wandern ist des Müllers Lust“ (we will gladly teach you) and up you hike the Holy Hill to Andechs Abbey. There you drink one or two Maß beer (means one liter in a stein – in Bavaria we always drink 2 Maß beer: the first and the last one).
You can leave this cozy place either at bright daylight or you take a romantic torch-lit hike back to the valley of culinary treats – the Post.
At first you’ll get a “Schnitt Augustiner“ (a lot of foam and little beer, so it stays fresh) and when you have fully arrived and are totally relaxed, we’ll spoil you with a 3-course menu “Bavaria meets Austria” – a bottle of house wine, water and a good-night-schnapps come on top of this delicious meal.
Tired and with the belly full, comfortably off to bed – have a good night!

It‘s hard, but first, you have to get up, but only to have our delicious and rich: BREAKFAST, BREAKFAST, BREAKFAST – we want to fully convince you of our gigantic Breakfast variety.
Then off to Munich, Bavaria’s capital – the metropolis with heart. Innkeeper Elisabeth has a lot of insider’s tips for you in store – no matter if you want to go shopping, make a sightseeing-tour or enjoy different culinary delights – just ask her!

Come back in time for having a Sundowner, like an Aperol Sprizz or a Gin Tonic, at the terrace of the Ammerseehotel / Steg 32.

With buoyant lightness back to the Post. Tonight we offer a 4-course “Feel good menu” accompanied by wine. Since water is for washing hands and feet, we serve “Adam’s wine” – as much as you can drink. And because we love bedtime-stories, we have selected one for you – you can read it to each other yourselves.

Today you have to leave – it’s hard (also for us). But the good news: You can come back any time and as often, as you like – provided that you liked it!

We’ll indulge you one last time with our marvellous breakfast buffet, provide extra power with freshly squeezed orange juice und bolster you up for departure with the gift of a glass of homemade marmalade.
