That’s what your perfect stay at the Post could look like:
Arrive and feel good! You can ether visit us in the early hours, so you’ll enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet, or you’ll have Weißwurst sausages – like we do it in Bavaria. Of course, we won’t forget, it’s Good Friday and here in Bavaria we’re very Catholic, so can also order fried fish with homemade potato salad for lunch.
Afterwards we recommend visiting the Good-Friday-service at our local and very beautiful church or you just stroll along Germany’s longest lakeside promenade.
Right before dinnertime, we welcome you once more, this time with a nice Postdrink at the long Postbar. Since today is a holiday, we indulge you with a scrumptious 4-course fishmenu – if you don’t like fish, we can also do some vegan treats, but we also have meat in store! There’ll be a bottle of delicious Postwine to go along with the meal.
And then you go off to bed – hopefully – filled up and satisfied.
Getting up comfy and enjoying the day – that’s our motto. Start the day easily – stay a little bit longer at our rich breakfast buffet and enjoy the variety of cool and yummy culinary delights.
Then full throttle off to Munich – discover this beautiful city. No matter, if you prefer the typical sights or rather the old inns, bars or anything else – we have plenty of insider’s tips in store for you.
Come back in the afternoon and be welcomed in our winter garden with a rich variety of tea (or better one of our coffee specialties?) and homemade pastry.
But since hunger will reappear in the evening hours and our kitchen staff is always happy to please you: Enjoy an original Bavarian-Styrian 4-course meal. And to put the cherry on top: Have a little schnapps in the end.
This morning‘s breakfast buffet is more like a brunch.
Thus fortified, the day continues for example with a divine service and pleasant choral singings. Around here’s a lot worth seeing and experiencing.
As soon as you’re hungry again (and since you know the Post already), we recommend a short walk to the promenade market – there you’ll find not only exceptional gifts, but also a lot for foodies. We’ll invite you at Tom Jaegers coffee booth to a warm waffle and a hot Espresso. And if you still want more Easter-feeling, you’re invited to join the Egg hunt in the Post beer garden, either for searching yourself or dressed up as Easter bunny – but don’t worry, this offer is valid tomorrow as well!
For dinner we’ll serve a lavish Easter-menu – starting with soup, then an Easter ham, some lamb and home-baked Easter cake (Osterfladen) with butter and regional forest honey. Probably you’ll find an Easter egg in your bed – it might be some high-proof bedtime treat.
Every day starts with our legendary breakfast buffet – but to top it off today, there will come a glass of Prosecco with the food – because life is just beautiful!
According to the weather you can hike up the Holy Hill to the abbey of Andechs, visit the Buchheim museum, just stroll around town, go looking for Easter eggs, shop at the local market – just do fun things.
In the afternoon we’ll spoil you with even more Prosecco together with a delicious Easter bite from our kitchen.
And for dinner, we thought: What about eating 4 courses whatever you like (you can plan this in the morning together with Elisabeth).
Let your last evening with us sink in.
Our breakfast is indescribable, therefore you have to experience it yourself – did you do that within the last couple of days? And today as well, we won’t disappoint you and try to make it hard for you to leave.
Thank you very much for spending your time with us in the Post! As a farewell gift, you get a little bagy, filled up with a delicious Easter ham, bread from the local bakery “Stenzl”, marmalade from Elisabeth and a bottle of homemade elderberry syrup.
